Darlington are in talks to bring former Arsenal striker Christopher Wreh to Feethams.

Wreh was involved with the Gunners squad which won the league and cup double in 1998, despite hardly figuring. Liberian Wreh is the cousin of former World player of the year, George Weah. He is a very talented footballer who is currently applying his trade in Scotland with St Mirren.

Manager Tommy Taylor confirmed the Quakers interest saying "We're interested in signing him, but we're waiting for him to get in touch with us. "If he's interested, then we'll invite him up for training with us."

Meanwhile, Tommy Taylor has included youngsters Martin Smith, David McGurk and Mark Sheeron in his squad for Saturday's trip to Bristol Rovers.
