Boro Vs Fulham: Team News

Boro striker Alen Boksic is set to return to the starting eleven against Fulham tonight for the first time since the Christmas period. Boksic has been suffering from flu and a troublesome hamstring injury, but the Big Croatian is now set to return instead of Dean Windlass.

Elsewhere, loan signing Benito Carbone, who was cup-tied for the visit of Blackburn at the weekend, will partner Boksic upfront.

Steve McClaren is expected to play the little Italian behind both Boksic and Noel Whelan, in the same 4-3-3 formation, which did so well in the second half against Leeds, in the last encounter.

Mark Schwarzer is also expected to keep his place. The Australian International controversially replaced stand in keeper Mark Crossley at the weekend.

Expected side: Schwarzer, Stockdale, Ehiogu, Southgate, Queudrue, Ince, Mustoe, Wilson, Carbone, Whelan, Boksic.
