Hartlepool manager Chris Turner remained cautious today following the 4-0 drubbing of promotion chasing Hull City last night at Victoria Park.

"It's a result that's been on the cards for a long time." said Turner

"That gave us the confidence to defend well against a team that has been scoring freely in the last couple of weeks. "Confidence is everything with all players. We didn't have one poor player out there tonight.

"Hopefully that will give us the confidence to go out on Saturday against Exeter, get our noses in front and get a similar result." He added
