Boro boss Steve McClaren is expected to name an unchanged team for the trip to St Mary’s, despite the F.A Cup quarter-final with Everton on Sunday.
It had been thought Boro may rest one or two of their big names, with the clash with the blue half of Merseyside, only four days later.
However, McClaren is said to be keen to continue with the same side that marginally defeated Leicester at the weekend.
Robbie Stockdale, Paul Ince and Jon Greening are all expected to recover from knocks to take their places in an unchanged Boro line-up.
The only possible change could be Alen Boksic, who may find it difficult to play two games in one week. McClaren may have to decide, which game he would prefer to play the big Croatian in.
