Boro boss Steve McClaren played down his side’s win over Manchester United on Saturday, insisting the club is not safe from relegation just yet.
Despite the magnificent victory at the ‘Theatre of Dreams’ McClaren said: "It was a massive three points. A lot of people didn't expect that and in truth it is difficult going to Old Trafford and getting anything. But the way we started and got the opening goal anything is possible.
"We're still looking over our shoulders and it's imperative we get wins to make us safe and this is just another three points and to that degree it makes no difference whether it was at Old Trafford, Liverpool, Arsenal or wherever.
"It was a win which was full of character, the lads were magnificent and showed great belief and deserved the win."
