Hartlepool striker Kevin Henderson may miss the rest of the season through injury. The popular fans favourite is likely to be out for at least two months after hurting his knee in Wednesday's reserve game against Halifax Town.
Henderson today had a scan on the knee and results have shown medial ligament damage. The exact length to which the player is likely to be out is not known. With knee ligament injuries recovery varies, it will all depend on how Henderson responds to treatment.
The news will come as a bitter blow to manager Chris Turner. Despite not being in the best of form currently, Henderson is undoubtedly a key member of the squad.
