Boro boss Steve McClaren hopes to wrap up the permanent signature of Frenchman Frank Queudrue later this week.
Queudrue has been an ever present in the Boro line-up this season, following his loan move from Lens in October. The full back has been a key element in Boro’s magnificent new defence and even scooped the runner up spot in the player of the year awards. Queudrue was just edged out by Gareth Southgate in the poll.
McClaren is expected to agree a £2 Million fee with Lens before the weekend, and Queudrue will sign a contract saying he will put pen to paper, once the season ends in two weeks time at Leeds.
