Newcastle have arranged a pre-season friendly clash against Second Division Oldham Athletic at Boundary Park on August 2.

The game will be the Magpies’ first of the new season and will kick off at 7.45pm.

The game was arranged by former Newcastle assistant Mick Wadsworth who now manages Oldham.
