Newcastle boss Bobby Robson bemoaned his side's luck after Newcastle once again went down in the capital, this time at the hands of Fulham 3-1.

Bobby said "I think we competed and lost to a competent side, goals change the face of a game and until the first goal came we were every bit as good as they were, in fact I thought we were on our way to a very good result.

"They did pass the ball well and I do think Jean Tigana has built well and has bought some good players. he added.

The defeat leaves Newcastle in sixth spot in the table and also extends The Magpies winless run in London to 27 games.
