Jody Craddock and Kevin Kilbane are out of Sunderland's trip to Anfield.
Craddock is still struggling with the leg injury, whilst Kilbane's ankle injury is taking longer to heal than expected.
Peter Reid will keep the same starting line up which beat Leeds 2-0 last Sunday. It will be a proud day for Darren Williams who is expected to make his 100th start for the club.
