Darlington manager Tommy Taylor has confirmed that the Quakers’ will be appealing against Mark Ford and Barry Conlan’s red card’s at Scunthorpe on Saturday.
Taylor said: "We have looked at the video, and we were definitely launching an appeal."
Both players were sent off in the first half by referee Paul Alcock, a former Premiership referee, most famous for being pushed over by Paulo Di Canio some years ago. Darlo went on to be hammered 7-1 in the game.
It is however felt Taylor’s strong words after the match will have made the matter worse, and it is unlikely Alcock will change his mind on either decision.
