Sunderland pair Kevin Kilbane and Jody Craddock could return for the televised clash with Chelsea on Sunday.

Both are making good progress though Reid remains cautious about throwing them back in. However the Sunderland manager may not have any choice, after Jason McAtter joined a growing injury list. The Irish International hobbled off with a hamstring injury against West Ham last week, and is almost certain to be out.

Reid is also without Bernt Haas. The full back is suspended for the game after picking up five bookings.
