Darlington boss Tommy Taylor will be without the services of Barry Conlon for the trip to Altrincham in the second round of the F.A Cup.
Conlon is suspended after being sent off in the Quakers’ 7-1 hammering by Scunthorpe, two weeks ago. Despite the club’s best attempts, referee Paul Alcock refused to change his decision, so the player must sit the game out.
Gary Caldwell will also be missing as Newcastle have refused to allow him to become cup tied.
The game has been chosen as a featured game on BBC’s Match of the Day on Saturday evening.
