Newcastle boss Bobby Robson was understandably delighted with his side performance in the 3-0 win over league leaders Aston Villa over the weekend.
Robson went as far to say that it was Newcastle's best performance under his leadership in his 2 and half year reign. The former England boss said "It was very comprehensive and with respect to Aston Villa and John Gregory 3-0 might have flattered them a bit. It's as good a performance as I've seen in the two and-a-half years since I've been here."
"We have a chance (of getting into UEFA Cup) We still have Carl Cort and Kieron Dyer to come back which will make us even stronger."
The boss signalled out praise for Welsh hitman Craig Bellamy. The younger striker is on fire at the moment, scoring 5 goals in 5 games. Robson added: "He showed great movement and good penetration and he is improving playing with better players. It's the best squad I've had, it's taken a while but it's certainly the best group of high quality players I have no doubt about that."
